Came in on Thursday night stayed at the campground loop B . Loop A is open and reservation is needed at the lodge ,$52 plus tax . Meet up with my brother that just goes to Powell to jetski. Friday launched at the new temp. ramp by the Main Ramp. Launching was no problem , went over to the bulldozer guys , and gave them a cantaloupe and a peach for there work. Headed over to the Bullfrog Marina to check on @Rush boat , seen that he broke both of the lines at the back of his boat , retied him back at checked that his bilge was working and the condition of his boat. The rest of the ropes he had helped him and he had out just enough bumpers out , His boat has been real lose in his slip. He was lucky that he had no damage that I could see. Went looking for boils , seen none . Got concerned about the wind and the ramp and called my brother to help me on the loading . Had him park the truck to where the tires where in the water . He pulled me up on the winch and could not get far enough in , then I seen the back of the boat go under the water. The ramp is to steep , for sure on my boat ,witch does not have a backwash. It a 17ft center console. Told him to hury and pull me out, and took on about 60 gallons of water. Also was not pulled up far enough on the trailer, so I went to the main ramp and turned down hill and pulled my boat on to the trailer. I cant launch at the Temp. Ramp Its to Steep.
Saturday went to the boiler plates at the Executive Ramp got there at 8:30 and there was a boat trailer there with a blown tire. He tried to go around the plates , thinking he would get stuck ,2wd truck, because the plates are in the wrong direction. If you stay in the Only Lane you are ok.
Went all the way to the far side of Good Hope Bay looking for Boils ,seen not a one. Went by @Chovyboy who was fishing 2miles down river from the toilet, and seen him when I came back .He was catching trolling and casting along the side of the main channel. I did that for about 2hrs and caught about 5 stripers . Then headed down to fish Smith and Crystal . At about 5:00 started to catch casting a swimbait at the stripers that where jumping but not boiling in about 40 ft of water in the back of the cove. Headed to Bullfrog at about 6:30 .When I came to bouy marker Bf3 , came across a full blown Boil. Had it to my myself for about 20 minutes , then the boats came. I was casting and catching fish ,then boats would go by me . At the end I had 3 Wake boats come from 2 different directions and rocked me pretty good and I called it a day. I was in the main path between Halls and Bullfrog, so I went to the campground happy.
Saturday went boating to Crystal , did not see a boil.
Had a great time in paradise , some days are great others are not. Water was 83 degrees to 86 . Also it is dirty up in Good Hope Bay and up River.

Thanks for info @dallas massie ! Hopefully they will do a better job on another temp ramp? At least we can get to the water. Although I don’t want to get in the water to load the boat in November, I know I’m getting soft!😂
