So is the Park Service is lying when they say you need 3525' to launch a boat? Or is that just for bigger boats and those who don't have 4 wheel drive? I can't believe they got the level above 3525 and then started "restoring the beaches" in the Grand Canyon and brought it down again. Before the Fish & Wildlife service started killing the rainbow trout, it was some of the best trout fishing in the country. I used to hike it every year. Once the "environmentalists" made them stop fluctuating the levels, my favorite beach grew in 7' tall with bamboo. I could not see any difference when the last time they "flooded" the canyon.

The 3525' level was used before they had boilerplate panels installed. The HFE has cost us 1.25' vertical feet so far and has had no impact on launching at Bullfrog North(Executive Services) Ramp.
