Brian Collins "Broski" has passed away

At only 51 years of age, we have lost @broski . Most of the old timers Wordlings on here knew him very well. He was definitely full of life, and one of a kind! He will be missed

i heard the news last night and was saddened. Those of that knew Brian, knew what a real character he was.
He was Great father, man and friend. I spoke with his son Conner, today and we shared memories of past shad rallies and other occasions we had to spend together. he raised a fine young man and a wonderful daughter in Carson.

The last time I saw Broski was when he came to my house and picked up a 90 hp Merc 4 cylinder outboard engine for the “Taildragger” that Petester gave to Conner. He was a lot of fun and will be missed. RIP Bro. Sq

I have some really nice memories of Broski and "Ballast Boy" from the South Rallies and Wounded Warrior events on Lone Rock Beach. He was an electronics wizard and willing to share his skill whenever there was a problem. Which, in my case, was often in the rapidly advancing tech world. Wonderful spirit full of generosity. He will be sorely missed!! Chuck
