From Wayne's fishing report "A full-blown striper boil blew up and lasted for 30-minutes just before the first big turn in the San Juan Arm"

As we headed upriver early Sunday morning with the houseboat, right at that first turn, we found 3 boats all fishing the same boil. We slowed the houseboat to a crawl, and bobbed and weaved our way between the fishing boats. Surprisingly the houseboat didn't seem to put the boil down. I'm wondering if it was the same boil.

Maybe not the same boil but definitely the same pod of fish. They have staked out a delicious shad school and they return often to have another snack. They will keep harassing that school until the school departs and then they will look for another big shad ball. Stripers tend to boil in the same spot as long as there is food available.
