I have a 2017 Reata 2050 with the 250 HP E-Tec. Nothing like buying a boat then waking one morning and finding out that your 3 yr old motor is now obsolete. I do love that 2 stroke for certain.

Prior to that I had a Crestliner 19' that I loved but would always be a wet ride on windy days. In july a little liquid feels great but in Nov and april not so much. The fiberglass ride is fantastically dry.

Yes, the E/Tec ‘surprise’ caught many off guard and I don’t blame you one bit if your blood boiled for awhile.

I have had both Trackers and Lund. They both provided good service. If you have the money I believe Lund is the way to go. I currently own a Lund 2075 Pro V bass boat and it has a 250 Verado on it. It handles Powell very well. The deeper Tracker or Lund would provide a better ride and more comfort in the wind.
Good Luck
