We launched out of bullfrog executive ramp at first light Friday morning. We headed north towards red Canyon and ended up camping on the north side across from popcorn Canyon, where Ticaboo Creek runs in. we started trolling from blue notch Canyon south to Popcorn Canyon and started picking up stripers in total over the few days trolling the same areas we picked up about 140 fish. A handful of those were walleye and a couple moles, but mostly stripers most were healthy couple skinny's great fishing the water temps were in the morning starting out at 60° and got up to 65 and some of the bays on average, the water temp was 62. The weather was amazing, slight breeze like everyone saying lots of sun and the water was cool enough that you could actually cool down and go for a swim and have a lunch.. it was a little busy with the bass boats, but not too bad all in all a fabulous trip. Can't wait to get back down. We were trolling Rapala perch color and some ghost colors but all of our lines we were trolling crank Bait deep divers, Black and silver worked really well. We had four lines out at a time using a planer board, and a downrigger. We also had long poles on the others, and it was nonstop action you'd be reeling in a fish on one pole and the other pole start dancing before you got that fish in the other pole start dancing it was literally nonstop. I'll take a picture of some of the lures we used as I bought new ones for this trip and they're still in the box and I lost a few of them on this trip as is always the case..
