BF and Halls Creek 10/17-10/19

If you own a boat long enough you probably have experienced about all of this

Just a piece of info for you, we once pulled the boat out in freezing temps, like 0 at fish lake and in the morning when we went to unload it the rails were frozen except they froze before we loaded the day before. As greyhackle was backing down the ramp the boat trailer went over a bump and the boat went sailing off the trailer hit the cement ramp and into the water! It was a little bit of a wild ride in the boat and of course we reloaded it and pulled it out to check it out. It was a real nice fiberglass ski type boat he had at the time. We have laughed about that many times since but it wasn’t funny at the time. Just a heads up.

Never seen that, but I did witness a boat and trailer slide straight into the lake at Strawberry when the boat before them dropped water that instantly froze to the ramp. They stopped when the tires hit the waters edge, but were jackknifed with damage to the boat and taillight of the truck. They couldn’t figure out how to get out. After watching for a few minutes and realizing they were doing more damage I walked over, grabbed some sand and rocks from the water and threw them on the ramp and they just drove off deciding to forgo the boating trip.
