beaching a houseboat on Hobie Cate Beach

We will be going to the lake in 2 weeks. We need to temporarily beach our houseboat on Hobie Cat beach for loading etc. Has anyone done this lately? Is there a problem due to the low water level?

Hi Sorry this can not be done, we kayaked there yesterday from the covered slips. it is a very scary and shallow approach to "the beach" and then a very long walk to anywhere ! Make another plan !

In the past with low water and people using the north ramp I've seen houseboats beaching by the north ramp and loading up.
That could be a possible site for you.

Use the north ramp to the right of the ramp may be your best option- you could at least get closer to the water-- My HB is buoyed in the north field and have we used this area for staging in the past

We always filled the ski boat with all our stuff/goodies then took the boat to the houseboat and loaded onto the back of it in the slip. Chuck
