bad reviews on house boat renting

I prefer antelope point rentals over wahweap. I seem to always have mechanical problems with the houseboats out of wahweap and Antelope Point has pre-boarding and captain services. They are very responsive if you are out on the lake with issues as well.

My worst houseboat rental by far - and most expensive - was from Antelope Point. They have some new Sumersets that look pretty nice but also ridiculously expensive. I still think the Wanderer from Aramark is the best bang for your buck.

Last year I had the fuel dock attendant move the rental from the fuel dock to the loading dock as the wind was starting to kick up. Amazing skill. He only used differational thrust to drive it in. Didn't even touch the wheel. I had been turning the wheel like I was on Wheel of Fortune the whole week.

That’s how I dock my cabin cruiser with twins. I always cringe when I see multi-engines boats being “steered” near the docks. No point whatsoever.

Yup, if you have twins use them and let go of the steering wheel.
