If I'm a resident of Colorado and I have a Non Resident Arizona license can I fish Powell without a Utah license? I believe so but want to confirm. Thanks in advance

This doesn't sound quite right....Fly Ramsey says he is a Colorado resident with a non-resident Az license. The information posted said this only applies to an AZ or Utah (resident) license. Clarify please.

From the AZGFD website:

PHOENIX — As of Jan. 1, 2019, a Utah stamp will no longer be required for fishing on Lake Powell, the red-rock fishing destination and geological wonder that straddles the Utah-Arizona border.
This means some anglers will save on what had been an $8 stamp. In addition, a resident of Utah or Arizona may buy a resident license from their home state and fish the entirety of the 254-square mile lake with only that one license. Likewise, nonresidents may buy one of the fishing license options from Utah or Arizona and fish the entire lake.

Lake Powell is such a magical place. Even one single fishing license allows you to fish the entire lake. I still can't believe it either as we negotiated with our staff and with AZ and we all finally agreed. AZ and UT residents and nonresidents may buy one of the fishing license options from Utah or Arizona and fish the entire lake.

This is unheard of but that is what we did. (y) WG

Agreed, so nice not have remember to get the Utah add on. Was surprised how much longer that took than getting the deal with Ca for Havasu.
