I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to bring by ATV to Powell. I would probably only use it for the occasional run down to the CG store/shower complex or to take something down to the boat (rented slip at Wahweap marina). Are these allowed? I have little interest in taking it off a paved road, unless there is something that is exceptional and within a half hour or so.
Are licensed ATVs allowed on GCNRA/Wahweap CG roads?

They are not allowed in the campgrounds and around the marinas / boat ramps (Stateline, Wahweap). Basically, anywhere with paved roads ATVs are not allowed.
They certainly are allowed in other areas of the 1.2 million acre recreation area, like Lone Rock Beach and Hole in the Rock.

There's an ATV area on the south end of Lone Rock beach. Just don't cross over into us folks in Greenehaven 
There are a couple of dirt roads on the west side of 89 going north to Big Water before the state line that I see ATVs on all the time going way out west. One is just before Greenehaven where a few boondockers sit every day.
