Aramark rate increase...

Hi Wordlings,

If you have a boat slipped/buoyed/dry stored at Powell, you likely received an email from Aramark yesterday about a coming rate increase... And this is referenced to "National Park Service guidelines," but gives no mention of what exactly that is. And, this is the second rate increase in the past 3 years, but we're not seeing any discernible improvements in the services. Anyone have any insight into this?

oh yeah, we have a 64 foot boat in a covered slip and Bullfrog/Now Halls which is not great.
we where paying about $1,400 per month
then about 2 months ago they said it is a 72 foot slip so now you pay $1,577 per month and don't care how long the boat is
just the slip length.
and then today I get a notice that they are raising it to about $1,700 per month
I'm not sure what we can do.
Just say, here's my wallet take all you want.
any thoughts ?

Well just to put it in perspective, our 58' houseboat got a 100% rate DECREASE on our buoy fees this past March. In the form of a canceled buoy contract by Aramark, in their preparation for the Bullfrog move. Totally blindsided, lost the entire season. So no buoy or slip fees for us lol.

Rate increases suck....but it could be worse, trust me.
Thanks for that post.....Perspective and context is so important in seeing a broader objective picture..... (y)

But so sorry for your lost season......@ 71 I now see all too clearly how we just can't get back 'time'.....:rolleyes:every day on our lake is so precious......(y)
