Slip loss is a huge penalty. And I’m not sure how you would fairly enforce it on a multi owner boat.
Pretty sure there is still a waiting list for slips. So eventually they may lose money but the could kick out quite a few before revenue would be down.If they kick you out, wouldn’t they lose revenue. Fines would be more revenue. Let’s see how this plays out.
Aramark/NPS evidently have been able to enforce a loss of slip penalty on a multi-owner boat. The story was that one set of owners was setting off fireworks in the marina (!) and as a result the houseboat was ejected from the marina. The other owners got together and bought out the offending party but that didn't help. The boat was still ejected from Wahweap (and supposedly is now at Antelope). Thanks for the research but i still don’t feel it supports the ban.
So a couple (the electricity and getting caught in the cables) may be unique to the marina. All the others were run of the mill drownings and could have happened anywhere on the lake.
So obviously no swimming anywhere on the lake?
And I know this has been a rule for years. Same with no fishing off the docks. It just never was enforced.

I have no doubt that they could do it. I’m sure it’s in the moorage contract.Aramark/NPS evidently have been able to enforce a loss of slip penalty on a multi-owner boat. $1000 + /month paid each of the 12 months of the year for the slip and they aren’t going to allow fishing off the houseboats?!? Good luck with that one NPS/Aramark…..I emailed Christopher at Halls about fishing off our houseboat and was told we will allow fishing on the shoreline only.
Natural Selection.I believe that It’s not just the electrical concerns, it’s the risk to swimmers as boats move in and out. I’ve seen kids swimming in the marina act oblivious to houseboats coming in to dock at the next slip
