Spiny Naiad is common but usually only grows a foot tall.. A new one called Brittle Naiad may be the one we saw last week in Dry Rock Creek. This species grows over 3 feet tall and covers the entire cove , Bass have to love it in weed scarce Lake Powell. I have had one more variety reported that has long leaves and is much like a potomageton. I am going to look for that one next week and post some pictureswhen I find it.
