We didn't have as much luck this year as last with bait, with a few exceptions. Numbers were down at the usual spots: Dam, Buoy 3, Intake, but some people at the fish cleaning station said they had good luck in the late morning. We may have been there too early in the day. We spent most of our time in Navajo Canyon and caught stripers, SMB, two or 3 LMB, a few crappie, and a couple of walleye during the week. Navajo is pretty muddy toward the back now, and seems to have slowed the past day or two. We used anchovies, trolled a variety of lures, and tried out the ned rig which worked for just about anything it passed close to
