Buddy is still a pup, but so smart, I loved every minute of fishing with him and Rush. They make a great pair. I can't say enough about Rush calling me on the Crappie bite, and how appreciative he was, and wanting to learn about jigging, and using the AssassinsšŸ‘
Thanks Kevin. But still think you chose the wrong pic. I also didn’t know what Avatar meant but Dallas Massie educated me

There's a long list of us that would love to be schooled by Kevin. I'm sure I'd learn more in one day than I've learned the last 30 years fishing Powell.

My brother-in-law just got back as well. He said he fished the stained water around the horn but fishing was better at Dungees Island just outside of the mud line.
I ran into him up there when he was headed home. He hooked us up with some much needed ice and some of his leftover anchovies. He has an awesome looking boat, he had wi-fi and everything on that boat. Let him know those anchovies he gave us caught a ton of fish!

Hello Chovyboy! Heading down today for a few days where did you use anchovies? I’m taking a first timer and would love to help her reel a few in that way. Thanks!

Troll just about anything in these areas in 14 to 30 feet of water until you find a school. We had the best luck with bright blues yellows and orange. When you start marking the school reel up your trolling lines set spot lock and drop the anchovies.

This same trip I got in with the Davis family/ Last cast, to try and catch some Striper for Easton and Calvin. It was slow most of the morning, but picked up and we caught 26 nice Striper. Those kids were tickled pink and had a fun time. So did there dad Kendall and Grand Pa Kelby. They had caught 2 the day before, so they were very happy. I ended the trip with Rush and Buddy catching 56 Crappie and Bluegill, and 55 Striper and Rush caught a Wally. Fun times at Powell 🄳 The boys got there first taste of green lights and night fishing the slips, and even though it was slow, had a great time😊image000000(6).jpgimage000004(1).jpgimage000005(1).jpgimage000003.jpgimage000002(6).jpg
