We saw several boats with bow riders in the channel between Antelope and the dam last time. My kids are old enough to have started going with other families. I pointed them out and expressed in no uncertain terms just how stupid it was. I really hate being right.

Oh, jeeze. Awful. Tragic. The pilot of the boat and/or parents must be utterly wrecked.

Yeah last week in the no wake zone we saw a boat with a kid sitting on each side of the boat with their feet dragging in the water. They were probably around 12 years old.
