It was a school of baby stripers chasing shad. They hit our jigs every drop for an hour. I did get one nice smally .

The 9-12 inches stripers will amaze you by how good they are to eat!

As much as I like to catch bigger fish the smaller ones are so much better on the table. And they are super easy to filet.
