Wow - thanks so much for all the information Wayne (and everyone else). I read My Lake My Life, btw. Thanks for the speedy shipping on that. Great read and knowing the background of why the stripers are there, why the population took off and why different techniques work in different situations provides valuable context to the day-to-day fishing reports folks post here. I’m bringing a variety of sliver jigging spoons; I’ll add a chartreuse bucktail to the collection. Maybe we can avoid the stinky anchovies altogether!

I don't have the best spoon pictures posted there but my favorite is the tiny slab spoon. It just shows the lead color but they can be dressed up with your favorite colors. My favorite size is 1.5 ounces and the lure is about 3-4 inches long
