So, all you bow in folks swim to the stern to get in the boat?!
That’s why God created step stools and crates for the bow entry.

Dogs couldn't navigate a step stool or a crate - so, we bought a bow-to-beach folding ladder. Dogs didn't really like it, but they would use it.

We have a 29' Cruiser if you see us beached (bow towards the sand) it's usually because weather's bad or I wanted to fish out the back. We usually prefer bow-out so we're floating and can run the generator if we want.

Just curious because I've always wanted a cruiser, why can't you run the generator bow in?

You can but the fumes get trapped between the shore and the waters edge. CO is heavy and will set on on the surface of the water. Sq

I prefer bow out if there is alot of boat traffic as nothing worse than pounding the beach all day/night! All depends on the spot I pick then decide what works best and bring miles of line

I always put bow to shore but I used a motorcycle tire under the bow. This eliminates the boat rubbing on sand. I agree about the bow out to big waves and boat traffic. Easy way to sink your boat is have large waves coming over the transom in these conditions. I try to find a small cove out of the wind, run the boat up on the tire which is right at shore/water level and than tie in stern lines to the sides with pickets as Philbo said. This always served me well but I also don’t have a big boat. As an aside, if you want to try this, drill large holes in the tire for drainage and attach a rope and bring to shore or you will lose it after a good blow.

It's a Rhodan 36v. 84" shaft. I mounted it on a shuttle slide so I could slide it inboard when not in use. I have when trolling motors hang off the front of the boat when stored.
