This article is from July 2003 - but I was not familiar with the movement to change the name back then. I assume this crazy idea has long ago been put to bed. It's just a reminder to me/us that the 'drainers' have been pursuing their goal in various ways for a very long time!

I blame these thoughtless, narrow minded idiots for the death of 1 firefighter, countless animal deaths and the destruction of over 75,000 acres of beautiful country during the Brian Head fire of 2017. This fire would not have been nearly as severe had these same small minded people allowed the U.S. Forest Service to do routine clean-up of dead and down trees. But no, they know way better than anyone else. We always find out after the fact the consequences of dumb decisions. I know there is talk of stopping air travel, I wonder if the left would allow slurry bombers to fly to put out fires or would that also be out of bounds. God Bess America.
