7/20-7/25 fishing report.

I’m terrified of my motor dying on the lake. Fortunately the only time my Opti has died is in my driveway. Took me two days to figure out but better to learn at home than in the back of the Juan. Blew a 10 amp fuse, replaced and blew again. All I had was a 20 so I put that in and found the problem when a coil blew. Replaced coils and left the good ones on the boat for emergencies. Bought a 100 pack of assorted fuses as well, my wife does not use hairpins. Went to the lake the next weekend and trolling motor motherboard died……frustrating spring fishing season. The only time I actually felt lucky that I was unable to swing a spring Powell trip. I was waiting for the water to come up so I could put in at Halls!
