Another great trip to Powell. It was our first time Slurp fishing. What a blast! We caught 37 Stripers for 2 1/2 days of fishing. We caught all our fish on Rapala Shadow Rap Shads. We had multiple double hook ups, I even had two fish on at once a couple of times. We pulled into a side canyon up by bouy 39 and saw 35 Bighorn Sheep, what a sight. We caught alot of SMB along the way dropshoting Shad Shap Worms, color did not seem to matter. TIP! What ever you do, do not throw Whopper Ploppers, the SMB hate those things. They would knock the bait clear out of the water and come back and eat it. Dont use if you have a week Heart!
We are planning on returning in October for some full on BOIL fishing, cant wait.
