I certainly like the Navionics app. Doesn't take up valuable real estate on my fish finder and yes, it's cheap. $50.00 per year.
Just a heads up though. On Navionics, the default lake elevation is 3606 amsl. So the offset at today's lake level would be -31 feet.
Also, while it's very, very good, it's not perfect. You still need to be very aware of changing conditions.
Especially when you’re up north. The mud has deposited 30’+ in some places and where you should be in 40’ of water it’s only 10.

Lake master does keep my lake level from the previous trip, many times I don’t have to change it but like someone said you need to check it with reality, both the horn and big bend have filled up with sediment, you cannot believe what it “should be” look at what it really is with your sonar! None of them are perfect but it amazes me at how close they get it with it being under water for 60 years! I feel so much better with it than I did back in the day when all you had was buoys for the channel markers and you didn’t know when the next one would come into view! We had lots a close calls with whales every trip it seems like. My advice is to NOT cut corners unless you like surprises!

I got in at 2:00 this morning was camping at Stranton . went up North on Friday by far the better fish . Will post later on another thread, had a great time on the lake seen about 6 boats past Good Hope .
I think I saw you late Saturday afternoon heading south between Moqui and Halls Crossing. We were heading back from fishing the horn and only saw a couple of boats up that way all day.

Did no one fish on Thanksgiving weekend? I was curious if its still on fire.
I was up there on Sunday and while Two mile itself was dead I thought the main lake on the out side of it was still quite good. I was casting a 10 ft. crank in 8-12 and catching lots of really healthy 5-7lb stripers as well as some nice walleye and more large mouth bass than I'd caught in that area all fall.

Saturday I fished around Red canyon and Blue notch and did all right for bass, definitely a lot more Large mouth than Small mouth.

I also caught my second, all time, "Lake Powell" Northern Pike in a cut off the main lake just around the corner from Blue notch Staurday afternoon.

My daughter caught a nice one several years ago at the mud line.

Makes sense, I've found lots of shad pst lone rock the past 2 weeks, but not 1 striper. I was killing them 4 weeks ago then they just shut down.
I was abled to scrape out 7 fish last weekend but had to cover 10 miles in the kayak trolling. There's fish deep in the bay west of Lone rock but you're basically fishing through a submerged forest. Lost a ton of gear. Had to move east and get the right depth.
