We go to halls crossing, put in on wednesday cruised around for a little, saw fish at the mouth of Moki but couldn't get them to bite, then the wind came up. Thursday we went up north and started catching stripers just before the horn, not many but this time of year any at all is good. We then went up to Trachyte and when you get where you can go either to Trachyte or turn White canyon, you can't go any farther. On the way back down we stopped at 4 mile and it was full of stripers and a lot of schools of shad. We caught about 25 striper on anchovies. We normally target walleye with crawler harnesses, so- I'm sure somebody will laugh- but since we were already rigged, we sliced an anchovy diagonally and put them on the harness. We came back friday until @ noon, got another 10 stripers, 3 walleye and one crappie-yes on a harness tipped with anchovy. Water temp was 50 to 53, high air temp was 45 although with no wind and the sun out not to bad. The color of the water changed around GHB and stayed that way until the real mudline and we saw fish really in that whole area. We haven't seen any reports lately, so we thought we'd let you know how we did.
