Headed out October 16th for 2 weeks.
Haven't decided about launching at Bullfrog or Wahweap.
Last several years have been out of Bullfrog so may try the south end.
We spend most of the 2 weeks in the San Juan and as some may know, its horrible back there. You know, crocs and zombies are rampant.
But we grin and bare it..
Just wanted to reach out and see hnif anyone has journeyed to the land of the dead recently. This will be the lowest lake level we have experienced in 12yrs.
We have camped mostly in Cha the last 3 or so yrs as Paiute has been chocolate.
Any info or shared stories are always appreciated.
Thanks Wordlings.

A friend reported great success along the shore from the MM25 wall to Gregory Butte, primarily stripers on surface lures and jigs. We got back on the 29th. Parked in Dry Rock Creek. Caught many stripers near the back of Last Chance on the right side---all jigging. Did pretty well in Friendship also. Friendship, Dry Rock are full of shad. Zip, nada, zero in Main Rock Creek. In June we filled the fish well in Cha in the San Juan, again stripers. Just trolling until the graph lights up, spot lock and jig (white 3/4 oz lures that will flutter down or Kastmasters 3/4oz) White bucktail jig would work fine too. Chuck
