Drove down to Bullfrog on Thursday night , didn't see any cattle . Was allowed to get my boat out of storage in the middle of the night , Captain Titus is a busy man.
Went to Moki island and trolled around bout 99a (Jarvise Point ) and around the entrance of Moki, caught stripers , but came for Blue Gill and Crappie . Fished the back of and caught about 50 Blue Gill ,not a single Crappie.
Saturday got up early knew my chances for Sunday fishing might not happen because of the rain forecast. Did the same as Friday , caught stripers near 99a , but never could find the school to spoon . Went to the back of Moki and couldn't catch a single Blue Gill , Headed to Crystal Canyon and caught about 3 Blue Gill . Trolled in the no wake in front of the Marinia , did OK. Then headed to Bullfrog bay and found a active school of Stripers by a rock island , off of the Spur ramp. Got into them at about 5:30 and got rained out , Rained from 6:30 till 9:30 Sunday morning . Headed home to watch the Broncos victory .Great Game
Debris in Bullfrog on Friday was thick , by Saturday it was pretty much cleared . The back of the Canyons was thick , but the water was fishable. What a change I was down on the 9th to to 12th earlier this month . Seen KNB launch and retrieve a Houseboat at 2,.0 , it's gone and I hope to never see it again. @stacy called me on Monday and told me he was last to retrieved his boat , and by Monday night , the whole parking lot was under the water . We should be able to launch at the Spur by May .
Had a great trip it was my birthday on Friday and had C loops to myself and my 2 wild Cathoulas.
