Wahweap cam is up, looks like a lot of cars parked down there, couple of houseboats at the ramp docks too. Strange though, timestamp seems to be off by over an hour…note time difference between webcam timestamp and iPad time (iPad = current AZ time)

Also, every time you click on Wahweap webcam, you get a refreshed image with new timestamp. Before, it used to be a snapshot and timestamp, taken about every 10-15 minutes.

The Wahweap Main Ramp camera is on. It is about an hour behind real time but it is currently showing a number of cars parked on the edge of the main ramp near the water. They have moved the access to the camera. I use the webcam page on Wayne's main page and its right below the Stateline camera shots. Chuck

I wish there was a way NPS could make the vehicles who are long term, ie houseboaters out for a while. Park up on the top parking lot, so the day boaters can be in and out on the lower lot. Cant even fathom how it could be done,,,, just wishful thinking.
Laketime picks up and drops off passengers in their houseboat at the upper lot. I've always parked up there on every trip and I think all other Laketime houseboat owners do the same. Other than rentals, I think Laketime accounts for the largest number of houseboats on the water. The majority, if not all, of the rental houseboats are slipped so they don't need to launch. What I'm saying is that I doubt that there are many vehicles in the lower lot that belong to houseboat passengers. There are likely a lot more from multi day campers in smaller boats but there is no incentive for them to park in the upper lot.
