Against better judgement, we went up to Powell Thursday Eve after a trip to the vet.... Motored up to our favorite spot. Two houseboats occupying... Motored around some more, black just stars... Amazing! Thank the good Lord for modern navionics! Beached the old girl at 9 PM and celebrated! We had a panoramic view of the channel and in light of what we observed, did not leave the beach in our boat for 3 days. Kayaks and inflatables only. Striper, cats and SMB all cooperated. Despite the absolute chaos, a wonderful trip!
