This is America, I’m not about to tell anyone how to have fun, to each their own, I’ll let other speak on regulations needed. But put me squarely in the camp of them being a nuisance. How could something that is designed to make a giant three foot wave not be. Just driving past one doing it’s thing I have to remind my family to hold on tighter as we break their waves.

I do things that annoy other as well. So, I’ll just keep driving by and waving with a smile on my face.

Edit: and to the article. Would be interested to see the more research that the university of Minnesota did.

I give them their space. I just don't go to Powell mid May through mid September. Too hot and fishing is the worst during these months anyway... October-April is fine with me very few encounters maybe in October.
