Stanton Creek camping

It has been several years since our last Lake Powell trip, but we are heading to Stanton creek to camp for the upcoming fall break weekend. I am wondering how Stanton creek is doing with the current water levels and also hoping that the solar powered porta- potties are still there and fairly close to the water and camping spots. Any knowledge you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The old campgrounds with bathrooms are quite aways from the shore right now. The road down is decent but you’ll need some clearance. Saw several large campers down there two weekends ago.

Drove through most of the left-side road on Friday. Pretty good shape. Lots of rigs. Many functional potties - just not near the water.

Thanks for the info. I guess another question that brings to mind is, can you get a boat anywhere near where you can camp?

I was able to going to the right down the 4x4 road. Plenty of good beach to park a boat and camp.

Are there places in stanton to launch a boat at this level? Instead of going to BF?

I saw many boat trailers deep into Stanton this last weekend. I can't imagine why you'd take the empty trailer that far in (if you had used a traditional ramp). So, I would guess they are launching somewhere in there. Also, saw many boat trailers parked on Hobie Cat Beach (not sure if that's kosher, but they were there). So, I guess people may be launching there also.
