We were up in Good Hope Bay last week and parked the houseboat in one of the canyons. I put the green light out on the back of the houseboat each night. We attracted plenty of plankton but very few shad. Normally the shad school and circle the light, the ones that did come in seemed to splash around the surface but never circled. We caught a few crappie and no stripers. Does anyone have any ideas or theories as to why the change in shad behavior? We were in 25' of water if that makes any difference. Thank you for any input or answers.
