We slept in the parking lot after a late arrival on the 23rd. Launched on the 24th and we were planning on going to Good Hope. When we were headed out of Bullfrog bay I noticed lots of fish on the graph and thought I would try my luck there and maybe save some gas. We didn't catch any, but there were at least 15 boats that headed out all going North. I was surprised how many boats were there this time of the year and decided to head South instead to the San Juan. We pulled in and started trolling them up right away. We had multiple doubles and triples. Then at about 2:30 the back of the bay started boiling. We caught fish from the boils until dark. The pattern repeated again on Saturday. Unfortunately we had to come home on Sunday but we wanted to stay longer. We fished along the shorelines in the morning and caught smallies with a few largemouth on almost every cast. It was a trip for the record books especially since the weather was perfect and no "W-word". @greyhackle invited me to a fish fry Saturday night that we missed due to being at the end of the San Juan arm and boil fishing until dark. Fortunately I ran into Greg and his posse on my way out at the decon station and Hanksburger
