Does anyone know how to rig one of these? I did an internet search with no luck. I understand the basic concept, but I don’t know what to do with the white plastic ring and the “sinker stops”. The drawings at the bottom don’t help.
Good to know, thank you. I have had good luck with bottom bouncers since using them the past 2years, and just this week went to buy some more. I wondered about how those tab weights work in the rocky environment of Powell. I’ll save them for sandstone drop offs. The other thing I would do with that is throw away those weights and replace them with a bottom bouncer. Those tab weights fit right in between rocks and snag. A lot of my walleye fishing at Powell is very slow trolling (with electric trolling motor) and bouncing on and around humps and drops and having that long wire on a bottom bouncer helps to keep the rig from snagging the bottom.
Quite possibly! I probably bought this when I was trying to catch my first walleye (succeeded at Deer Creek Reservoir at night). Powell is much more fun, though.I had to chuckle when I saw the Anglers Inn price sticker on the package. It has been gone since 2001, so that package has hung around in your tackle box for a while. Was at Anglers for over 25 years, might have sold it to you . LOL
