Yes! Be careful and have fun!I have bought the UT $25 fees for AIS, I have taken the mandatory test for UT and I just bought the yearly pass for the boat and all 3 seadoos from pay.gov Glen Canyon Vessel Pass. Is there anything else we need to do? Thanks
Thank youA copy of the AIS form is supposed to be displayed on the dashboard of the tow vehicle as well as in the boat/seadoo. Sq
Yes, I received my AIS decal to put on the boat and seadoos and also the yearly pass decal for the boat and seadoos. I was surprised that the boat decal also had the length of the boat/ PWC on it.Is this required for all boats or those that are registered in Utah? We are coming from Phoenix and paid for our truck and trailer. Now a boat?
I’m getting sick of removing these stickers every yearSo they are now doing an actual decal for the AIS certification? So my boat will have the following decals:
1. Colorado Registration
2. Glen Canyon vessel pass
3. UT AIS decal
4. WY ANS/AIS decal
5. NE ANS/AIS decal (assuming a trip to Big Mac)
I'm going to need a longer boat.
Im in the same boat(pun intended) Ive resorted to putting them all in a ziplock back that stays on the boat. I get some grief every now and then but I have yet to have to put an AIS sticker on my boat from any of the states you mentioned. I did have an officer offer to put mine on which i declined successfully. So they are now doing an actual decal for the AIS certification? So my boat will have the following decals:

Yes, required for non utah boats.?Yes, I received my AIS decal to put on the boat and seadoos and also the yearly pass decal for the boat and seadoos. I was surprised that the boat decal also had the length of the boat/ PWC on it.
Yes, we are in Colorado and have Colorado AIS but UT wants their own. We have spent about $500 just getting the boat and 3 seadoos legal for Colorado and Utah. Ouch!Yes, required for non utah boats.?
I primarily boat in Wyoming and have no no issues with one AIS sticker. However, being required to physically attach one to boat in Utah, Colorado, Montana, Idaho etc. starts getting a little ridiculous! I’ll buy the permit, but all those stickers are a bit much!Im in the same boat(pun intended) Ive resorted to putting them all in a ziplock back that stays on the boat. don't forget the Curecanti decal for Blue Mesa....So they are now doing an actual decal for the AIS certification? So my boat will have the following decals:

I believe you are correct however and conveniently the AIS sticker for Utah is numbered which is associated with my boat registration..... which is how i was able to get out of having to stick it to my vessel in utah. I was however warned if i were to forget it I could be ticketed.I primarily boat in Wyoming and have no no issues with one AIS sticker. I think technically, it’s supposed to be attached because you could transfer it from one watercraft to another. I’m with you however, I’m going to take my chances!
