I just noticed that Waterman saying there are no prize's this year, so let's make it the best year ever for the prize's. Were not spending any money fishing Powell, so let's put some money up for three prize's, I'll put $100 dollar's up to get it started, and let's stimulate this contest. Who ever take's care of this, I will send my $100 dollars to.

I supplied prizes for years , The way it went down last year for the prizes gave me a bad taste in my mouth so I'm bowing out this year . but thanks to you all for stepping up.
 
I think the best way to fix what happened to me last year would be for all of the donations for the winner be sent to some one way in advance to hold and then they can send all the prizes to the winner. 4TAS 2 cents

I guess I missed what happened last year. I know I didn't win but no one came to collect the prize I offered. Did it not go well last year? What did I miss?

I donated a prize last year. I just contacted the winner myself and arranged shipping the prize to them directly. That way it eliminates the middleman and prizes are not being shipped twice to get it to the winner. Suggest if someone wants to donate a prize, they also pay the shipping. When the winner is determined, send the winner a private message to get their shipping address, and then ship the prize to them directly. Easy peasy!

I will offer the same prize to the winner that I did last year. Free motor winterization for one engine only. Includes fuel stabilizer, complete antifreeze motor flush and fogging.

I know it doesn't help anyone from the Southern end of the lake unless you want to go for a little drive. The catch is, the winner has to bring the boat to my shop to collect the prize. I can go get the boat on the Northern end for a fee if that would be preferred or more cost effective depending on where the winner lives. No shipping required. ;)
 
I still have the 8 slab spoons I offered to donate last year. I'm thinking about a charity donation this year in the name of the nearest guess. Something to do with youth fishing programs or something like that. Just a thought I had today.
 
Im very excited to see that the high water contest continue and so does the prizes. This site has taken a lot of hits since I got involved many years ago. The loss of Pete , Water baby , and the list goes on and on. Keep up the good work . special thanks to Papa Jack. Squirrel I should have followed your lead .

Tim, I saw your post about the loss of Waterbaby. Did she pass away?
