I,ve been enjoying this site for a loooong time and with winter weather slowing things down I finally decided to join up. Live in littleton colorado(-burb of denver) for almost 40 years now. We,ve been enjoying Powell since 1983. Truly is a place that the special. We have and old boat- 1976 starcraft 25 foot cabin cruiser that we,ve had since 1992 and a couple of inflateable dingies with outboards Keep boat at Ticaboo with offshore. Dragging it across mountians was getting old. Our kids always called it skuffy (for the tugboat)-so it stuck. Like you-we had many adventures mostly good ones-with the a few that were rather stressful. This september made it all the way up to Hite!!! Use to fish and may pick it back up but now enjoy exploring .

At least that is my assessment of being out on the water. I haven't been out there since this morning. It was a great, warm, calm day for November. If you haven't noticed, Lake Powell fish are FAT!!!! Lakewide! What a great year for the fish. Anglers will eventually get even with them. Right now fish are very persnickity but when you do catch one, it is a great battle.
