Weekly Low Water Update
June 9, 2022
Dear Partners:
1. Lake Powell Water Levels Continue to Rise: As of June 8, the lake had risen to elevation 3535.04 (feet above sea level). Boat ramps are fully operational for motorized vessels of all sizes in North Lake Powell at Bullfrog North and in South Lake Powell at Wahweap’s Stateline Auxiliary.
2. Memorial Day Weekend Operations: The park is receiving feedback about holiday weekend operations to address traffic flow and ramp congestion. Comments were received and discussions went well during an on-site meeting this week with South Lake Powell Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) permit holders and applicants. The park is also reaching out to CUA permit holders and applicants in North Lake Powell. Any needed modifications will be announced in the future.
