Has anyone been up north and seen where the mud line is? Also, is it even feasible to launch a lighter boat (17' Crestliner Fishhawk w/90hp OB) at Hite? We will have several trucks with winches in case someone gets bogged down. Just thinking with the lake level rising, the launch may be easier as the water is rising into dry, packed down gravel/shale.

CANT BE DONE!
If you go to Hite you can drive to the bottom of the ramp and then a couple hundred yards on down into the weeds until it gets too muddy. Then you have to wade through a knee deep pond for about 50 yards and then walk another 150 yards to the riverbank.
The water in the river is about 12-14 feet below the bank. Almost straight down. Then there is about 15 feet of quicksand you’d have to cross to actually get to the water
The old primitive ramp is also high and dry, and chained off

When I was at Hite in mid-February, with a water level of 3603-3604, you could not launch. The primitive ramp was way out of the water. I posted a pic in response to a post. You may want to search for that. I don't have access to it right now.

I think it needs to come up about another 20 feet at least.
