Wayne you stated in this weeks report that
"Mature stripers that are not finding shad will move to the deep water in the main channel. These fish have shown up at Glen Canyon Dam this week. Catches of 30 fish in 4 hours of fishing have been reported."

Is there a place up north like the Dam or Buoy 25 that is sort a "go to" spot for bait fishing for Stripers ?

The mouth of Lake Canyon and just upstream of Moki traditionally hold stripers this time of year.

In addition to the above named spots, the mouth of Halls Creek (west side?) can be crazy good. I have seen several boats in there at one time, with almost everyone hooked up simultaneously. That was certainly the case a few years ago, not so much last year. I am sure water level plays a big part. google maps photo shows it best --from right where the boats are all the way to the slickrock point to the left of the boats.
