Well probably not, but awful close. My fishing buddy caught him up in Good Hope Bay on Memorial Day. Measured him out, took a few quick pictures and let him go. Wasn't until we got back that we realized how big he actually was.
Ice Chest lid measures right at 18 1/2", so he was every bit of 19" long. No scale on the boat (I will have one from now on), so no weight. I do remember noticing that for his size, he didn't look that thick, almost skinny. So not thinking over 5 lbs, but I'm just guessing. Dexter may disagree though. He's saying 20", but he says he never stretches the truth.
As mentioned in other posts, yes have been catching some big fish the past 2 years - large mouth and small mouth -
