The following change has been made to the 2017 Utah Fishing Guidebook effective today:

    Pelican Lake (Uintah County)

The daily bag limit has been raised to:

    12 Largemouth Bass

    No limit on Bluegill

This change is effective January 10, 2017 and will remain in effect until October 15, 2017.

Pelican Lake will be treated with rotenone in October 2017 to remove invasive Common Carp. The treatment is scheduled for the first or second week of October, 2017. This bag limit change is meant to increase harvest on these fish which will be lethally removed during the treatment anyway.

All other rules established in the 2017 Utah Fishing Guidebook remain in effect.

    Thank you.
