Five years after selling our houseboat share, grandkid demand is bringing us back to the lake, to a rental from Bullfrog later this month. Hard to find info on the conditions of canyons, so I went searching online. Yes, there are high-res images available for purchase for quite a bit of $, but one site has lower res "10 meter" monochrome shots downloadable for free - arlula.com - that after enhancing brightness/contrast, at least show where water extends in canyons. Having camped in Cedar Canyon for years, I compared the Google & Mapquest versions (which are NOT very recent) to one taken on July 16 - 6 days ago. Quite the change, and now know that the part of the canyon we visited many times is high & dry.
