Found a school in Moki Canyon about 1:30ish PM yesterday (12/20) where the dot is on the map. Trolled through it a couple times (almost out of fuel) and caught them on a Berkeley Dredger 25.5 in Chameleon Pearl and a Rapala DT16 in Citrus Shad. They were small, 2-3lbs but healthy looking. Tried spooning with a silver Cotton Cordell and a 1oz Bucktail. I am new to the spooning game and admittedly whiffed on bites every time I floated back over.
Also, I had a little trouble getting my motor started at the ramp in the morning and wanted to say thank you to everyone that asked me to help and/or squeezed on my bulb. A new boat is starting to appeal to me more an more instead of milking an old one and putting more money into it.
