Fished Thursday thru Sunday mainly in the Rock Creek area. Water temps were in the mid to upper 60's. The fish did not appear to have moved to the backs of the coves yet. They must be on a different schedule than the North End Fish.
Plenty of fish on Jigs and Drop Shot but could not hardly buy a fish on anything else. (tried hard with Top Water, Jerk Baits and Rattle Traps). Only saw a couple of Striper's. The Smallmouth are much healthier than they were in June. Caught quite a few Largemouth, they must be making a come back.
Tour boats have no manners!

Thats exactly what I found last week! The bass are not chasing. They will eat something if it's right in front of their nose but will not move far for a lure. They are in great shape which may account for why they are not on their typical fall feed. ;)

Took a quick trip with BIL on Saturday primarily to break in the New boat. We ran to San Juan just to put time on the motor and found the smallies stacked pretty good in the back of Piute in 2-7 Feet of water. We also hit the very back of Slick Rock on the way back and he put a hurtin of the Largies pulling a spinnerbait through the brush. Some were in less than 2'. Biggest was probably 3 pounds but they were hot!
