We launched on Friday morning. Decided to head to the San Juan. Stopped at Lake Canyon. We pulled in 19 stripers in about 45 minutes. It was fast fishing, but the wind was really pushing us around making the Kracken work too much for day one. We stopped at Escalante and stayed the night in the first canyon on the left side. Fishing was off the charts. We caught fish on almost every cast. My 8 year old daughter caught her first fish on her own cast. Is was a nice smallie.
