Sorry to hear about the Bubba Blade I hope it shows up. What's the secret finding the bluegill? Headding down last week of October and would like to target a few. I have never fished them at powell.
There are plenty of bluegill around the docks in Bullfrog. Especially where there is submerged brush. Bobber and worm is the best bait, but small curtail grubs work well too. If you're camped in a houseboat, by the second day the best bluegill fishing will be right under your deck. Thanks! We found the bluegills in nearly every cove around rockpiles and brush.
