A newer motor for the Robalo. It has a 1989 2-stroke 150hp on it now, that has lost compression, and no one will rebuild or even look at it because it's so old..... So I'm in search of a 150hp (preferably 4-stroke) newer used motor to replace the scrap Yamaha. Anyone out there have any ideas or know of anyone in Page who might have a motor that would work? It needs to have a 20" shaft. The boat is in Page now.

I'd stay 2 stroke, an etec if you want clean burning. Adding the extra weight of a 4 stroke may put you scuppers underwater.

Lots of great deals on used 2strokes, at least out here in so cal.

Just bought a pontoon boat last year with a 2015 150hp 2 stroke Etec. Love it. Its super quiet, clean burning and its oil injected so you don't need to mix.

I'd stay 2 stroke, an etec if you want clean burning.

that's the motor that bankrupt OMC , run away from that motor!!! new evinrudes awesome, 1999,2000 years bad news
