Question? Curious about local identification that has to be displayed in your towing vehicle and your boat at a Wahweap ramp and parking lot. Are the men in black cross checking for overnight violaters. They are recording these numbers For some purpose.

If anyone is overnighting out there they are hiding out pretty well. Not a single houseboat or sign of any shore campers south of Oak Canyon.

Today we traveled from Wahweap to MM 53 (Anasazi Canyon) and didn’t see but one fishing boat on the return trip...and they were heading back in around 5 pm like us.

AZGFD and NPS doing excellent work out there, hoping DNR and Utah will hop on board soon.

We had three overnight boats near us in the back of Warm Creek Sat night and all kinds of vehicle camping from the road. I certainly may be wrong but my feelings are the ramp is open for day use, in and out, but overnight camping is not necessarily prohibited. Besides what do you do if it's 8:10 when you get to the ramp on Sat night. You're stuck and have to stay overnight. They closed the ramp and chained it up at 8pm sharp on Sunday.
