Found em!
Went searching this morning at '0'dark early.
Left Wahweap with the moon shining and the sun not yet making the morning Grey. Stopped on all the popular spots to have a look. 3mile, Antelope Canyon, just north of Antelope Point, through the narrows, nothing happening. Arrived at Last Chance around 6:30 and saw some splashing in mid channel. I drove in to the 1st cove on the right and Stripers were crashing the surface just off the point. I was about 100 ft when I cast a 3/4 Oz chrome/blue Kastmaster. Instant hookup on a fish with shoulders, and he went straight to the bottom, my 6# tackle not even being a challenge for them. When he got to the rocks at the bottom , he was gone.
OK, break out the 15# gear. Next boil was huge in mid channel. I threw a 4" chrome/blue Krocodile spoon and quickly latched onto another. This one tried to get away but didn't. It was a solid surface bite for next 1.5 hrs. Average fish was 5#.
